Abstract

One of the most promising new technologies of the twenty-first century, nanotechnology promises to pave the way for improvements
in many different areas that will ultimately benefit the general public. When it comes to healthcare, illness diagnosis, treatment, and
prevention, nanomedicine is where nanotechnology really shines. Considerations like as size, shape, specific surface area, surface
morphology, and crystallinity contribute to the nanotoxicity issue that nanomedicines bring. There is currently no dedicated regulatory
framework for goods based on nanotechnology in either the European Union or the United States, and nanomedicines are governed
as either medicinal items or medical equipment. This assessment lays forth a plan for the categorization and regulatory approval
procedure of medications based on nanotechnology.
