The findings of a study on natural resource law are summarized in Water and Law

Abstract

The findings of a legal study conducted by University of Miskolc researchers on water as a natural resource are
summarized in this article. In essence, the University's legal research can be seen as an extension and
implementation of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences' (MTA) national water science strategy. It is based on
legal evaluations by Jürgen Ede Szilágyi, which offer a crucial connection b etween the MTA's water strategy and
jurisprudence. The interdisciplinary method, historical method, and comparative method are the three primary
legal approaches used by Hungarian researchers in the University's legal study, which expands the findings of i ts
predecessors.
