The European Union (EU) views the promotion of electric transportation as a strategic
objective. This objective is connected to a number of other initiatives, including the Clean
Transport Systems Initiative, the Europe 2020 Strategy, and the Horizon 2020 agenda. In
the year 2015, the implementation of the Jedlik Ányos Plan (Hereafter referred to as the
Plan) in Hungary served to expedite the spread of electric vehicles.Electric cars are
substantially quieter than conventional automobiles, which means that they contribute
less to the pollution of the environment caused by traffic noise.
