Author Guidelines

Types of Submissions

The International Journal of Sports Law and Policies  welcomes the following types of submissions:

• Research Articles
• Review Papers
• Conceptual Papers
• Case Analyses
• Book Reviews
• Commentary Articles
• Policy Analysis Papers

Manuscript Requirements

• Format: MS Word / OJS Online Submission
• Citation Style: APA 7th Edition / Bluebook (where applicable)
• Word Limit:
  • Research Articles: 3,000–8,000 words
  • Review Papers: 1,500–4,000 words
  • Commentaries and Case Analyses: 1,500–5,000 words

Mandatory Submission Requirements

• Plagiarism must be below 10%, excluding references.
• All sources must be properly cited and referenced.
• An Abstract of 150–250 words is required.
• Include 4–6 relevant keywords.
• The manuscript must be original and should not be under consideration by another journal.
• Tables, figures, and other supplementary materials must be properly numbered and labeled.
