Peer Review Policy

Stages:

  1. Initial Screening
    • Format and submission requirements check
    • Plagiarism and originality assessment
    • Evaluation of relevance to sports law and policies
  2. Double-Blind Peer Review
    • At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript anonymously
    • Reviewers assess originality, legal analysis, research quality, methodology, relevance, and academic contribution
  3. Decision Phase
    • Accept
    • Minor Revision
    • Major Revision
    • Reject

Review Time

  • Average review period: 2–4 weeks

Reviewer Responsibilities

  • Maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts
  • Provide constructive, objective, and unbiased feedback
  • Evaluate the quality and relevance of the research
  • Identify potential ethical concerns, conflicts of interest, or plagiarism
  • Complete reviews within the agreed review period
